Today, knowledge and expertise are more vital to success than ever. In order to support the enhancement of our members’ expertise, and thus help them succeed in meeting business objectives, we are in the process of evolving our Special Interest Groups into Communities of Practice.
This means that these communities will be clearly focused on the skills and best practices which are necessary for excellence in Information, Knowledge and Records Management, as well as archiving which in turn are crucial to maximizing return on an organization’s assets (knowledge, expertise, Intellectual Property), and ensuring regulatory compliance (Data Protection, Freedom of Information, Copyright, licensing for pharmaceuticals products etc.).
